Legal advice is personal:
Nicola Williams and Co specialise in helping people record family law related agreements. We prepare Financial remedy consent orders on divorce, Separation agreements, Deeds of trust, Cohabitation agreements and Pre-nuptial agreements.
As part of our services we provide various advice options.
- You may choose the simplest service. This includes explanatory notes that explain the legal terminology and highlight significant points in your documents. This is intended for people who feel that their situation is very straightforward or for those who have perhaps already taken advice or been to mediation.
- If you feel that you need a little more help you can also arrange a telephone consultation or further written advice which is usually delivered by email.
- After you have signed the paperwork, we can check it for you and send it to the court or land registry as needed.
We do not have any hidden fees. We do not charge extra for routine emails. We charge only for preparation of documents you have requested and received a quote for and for consultations or bespoke advice.
Wherever you find it, the information contained in this site is for general guidance only. It is not intended as a substitute for bespoke legal advice.
Judges have a very wide discretion on how to apply the law in family cases. No two cases are ever exactly the same – although some will be very similar.
Therefore, whilst you may find some cases interesting to read, please always remember to take specific advice in your case before making any important decision or taking any steps in legal proceedings.
Do not rely on any of the information on this website (or any other) exclusively. It is here to point you in the right general direction and help you understand when and why you might need to seek personal advice and assistance from a professional legal adviser.
